For teachers

Less marking. More teaching.

Simusim is built around a teacher's actual day: attendance in seconds, a gradebook that fills itself, report cards that compute themselves, and lesson plans with the NaCCA curriculum already inside. One login, on the phone you already carry.

§ 01 — Your day, shorter

The admin parts of teaching, handled.

Every screen does one job, works on a slow connection, and never asks you to type the same thing twice. The hours you spend on registers, mark sheets, and end-of-term arithmetic go back into teaching.

I.
Attendance in seconds.
Open your class, tap "Mark all present", adjust the exceptions, done. Schools using the gate kiosk get arrivals marked automatically — and parents of absent children are informed by SMS without you chasing anyone.
II.
A gradebook that fills itself.
Scores from computer-based tests flow straight into your gradebook — no transferring marks from one sheet to another. Term grades are computed with your school's own CA/exam weighting, automatically.
III.
Report cards without the all-nighter.
When the term ends, the grades are already there. You add your comments, the school approves, and clean PDF report cards come out the other side — no midnight arithmetic, no correction fluid.
IV.
Lesson plans with the curriculum inside.
Plan lessons against NaCCA-aligned templates, attach them to your classes, and submit for review in the same place — instead of formatting documents late on Sunday night.
V.
Learning apps that teach with you.
Assign Simu Primary, Simu JHS, vMaths, a full virtual science lab, and a reading shelf to your students — then watch their progress arrive in your portal instead of guessing who practised.
§ 02 — One login

Your whole day on one screen.

The teacher portal opens to today: your classes, your timetable, what needs grading, and what the school has announced. No second password, no hunting through menus — and it's built to be quick on a mid-range phone on 3G.

Sign in once and every tool you're allowed to use is simply there — attendance, gradebook, tests, lesson plans, and the learning apps your students use. If your school turns on a new app, it appears; nothing new to install, no new account to remember.

Software for teachers should feel like a well-prepared classroom: everything where you expect it, nothing you have to fight.

And because the whole school runs on one system, your work compounds: the attendance you mark powers the SMS a parent receives; the test you set fills the gradebook; the grades you enter become the report card. Nothing is typed twice — by you or anyone else.

§ 03 — Bring it to your school

You teach. We'll convince the head.

Teachers rarely choose the school's software — but heads listen to teachers. If this looks like a better way to spend your week, send it up the chain; we'll do the rest at a fifteen-minute walkthrough.
